Turmeric (Curcuma longa) anthotype by Laura AlbornozTurmeric (Curcuma longa) for making anthotypesAmount: 2 tablespoons
Extracted using: Powder dissolved in alcohol and filtered through a cloth
Thinner: Alcohol
Layers: 5
Used to create image: Laser printed OHP positive

Challenges or observations:
The anthotype I got first had light yellow tones and low contrast, so after exposure I brushed the paper with water + baking soda (2 tablespoons into a cup of water). Finally I got strong orange tones, better contrast and more details. Very happy with the result.
