Exposure: 1 week in sunlight and 30 mins under UV light, July, summer, 2023
Contrast: ✿ (Low)
Challenges or observations: The Swiss chard mixed with woad created a golden-copper print with only slight contrast even after additional time under a UV lamp. Perhaps more woad would create a stronger coloured emulsion with more contrast.
Additional information: This is difficult to brush on smoothly as it is quite a grainy emulsion even after straining.

In Volume 4 we will combine entries from both 2025 and 2026 into one beautiful double edition to include even more inspiring work, insights, and pigments to explore.
