Stephan Krines – a German self-taught photographer – has been working with photography since 1988. He shows his cyanotypes, gum bichromates and pinholes.
From: Germany.
Shows: Cyanotypes, Toned cyanotypes, Gum bichromates and Pinholes.
Stephan Krines’ interest in photography began when he got his own camera, a Praktica MTL at the age of 18. He came to Cyanotypes in 2000 when he got introduced to alternative photographic processes by an exhibition.
Stephan Krines likes the simplicity of the Cyanotype process. He mainly uses self-constructed pinhole cameras and enlarges the negatives with the computer.
“I like the creativity that the cyanotype process allows.”
