An explanation of “undated”:
For each month, there are pages with blocks for the entries for each day. The blocks are numbered from 1 to the end of the month (i.e.,28/29/30/31). In small type at the top of each block, are the seven days of the week which can be checked as appropriate for the given year.
The undated Sir John Herschel tribute journal can be used for ANY year (“unyeared” is a better word, since it has the days of the months written out but can be used for any year). It contains both pre-defined pages and blank pages for you to plan your year and make time for your art. The templates are there to help you focus on your art projects as well as get a balance with work, home and everything else that happens in life.
