Solvent: 6 cups of tap water mixed with 12 tablespoons of white vinegar
Application: Brushing

Substrate: Canson XL watercolour paper, 300 gsm
Created with: Multiple positives on Pictorico transparency paper printed with Epson inkjet
Exposure: 4 days in September, fall 2025
UV strength: Varied from 1-7, but averaged 5
Temperature: Around 21° Celsius or 70° Fahrenheit
Humidity: 25-30%
Contrast: ✿ (Low)
Challenges or observations: During exposure, the emulsion darkened, turning my positive images into negatives. Also, be sure to open your windows before simmering—it gets strong!
Additional information: Using more plant material and less water would likely improve results. It took several days of coating to build up enough pigment on the paper.
