The Worldwide Pinhole Photography Day 2010 took place on the 25th of April 2010. All over the world, pinheads grabbed their pinhole camera, and set out to document the day. Ruben Fabbri, aged 2 years and 3 months was probably the youngest participant of the event.

Whilst Ruben is resting and preparing for his big day, big brother Maximillian starts out documenting the day. He’s at Skansen in Stockholm.

Yes! I’m gonna take some pictures!

I’ll start with a picture of the fence.
pinhole-day-2010-maxi-04
Where is the picture? How come I can’t see the picture?
pinhole-day-2010-maxi-05
Strange camera, the picture should be here somewhere…
pinhole-day-2010-maxi-06
Oh, well, I’ll try again.

I like those Easter Lillies!

An airplane, I’m gonna get that one!

I’ll finish up with that flower!

Whilst Maximillian had a go, Ruben woke up from his nap and saw the camera… mum is trying to give instructions – unsuccessfully.

I don’t need instructions! I know how to do this myself, I’m going to run off and explore on my own!
pinhole-day-2010-ruben-02
Catch me if you can!
pinhole-day-2010-ruben-03
I’m guessing that’s the button to press…
pinhole-day-2010-ruben-04
This is so much fun!
pinhole-day-2010-ruben-05
I’m getting good at this!
pinhole-day-2010-ruben-06
I’m going to take a picture of Maxi!
pinhole-day-2010-ruben-07
I said “Stand still!”… oh, no he’s running away.
pinhole-day-2010-ruben-08
Phew… I finally caught up!
pinhole-day-2010-ruben-09
Now, I can even see him in that tiny little hole.
pinhole-day-2010-ruben-10
Mum said I had to save the picture… which button was it now?
pinhole-day-2010-ruben-12
Oh, yes, that spinning wheel thing… that’s how you save it.
pinhole-day-2010-ruben-11
No! No! No! I’m NOT done yet. I’m NOT going home!
pinhole-day-2010-ruben-13
I said, I’m not done!
pinhole-day-2010-ruben-14
Happy to get his own way, the photography session continues.
pinhole-day-2010-ruben-15
Just one more picture of my favorite car, then I’ll agree to go home…
pinhole-day-2010-ruben-16
Whatcha mean? Get the camera back? Forget it. It’s mine now, I’m even taking it to bed!
