Martine Marie-Anne Chartrand is on a zero-waste journey and is exploring processes such as anthotype and chlorophyll alongside her work in cyanotypes and pinholes.

Martine Marie-Anne Chartrand has been creating art for almost 20 years and holds two diplomas in the visual arts and in the photographic arts. Her practice is always in flux, making her a photo-based process-driven artist. She is not particularly bound to one process. Instead, each new photographic process discovered offers her new possibilities of expressing and understanding the vast world of the unseen emotions lived through experience. She is also very interested in the sustainable darkroom movement since she has been on a zero-waste journey. On occasion, she offers Pinhole workshops since this process has a lock on her heart. Martine participates in group shows locally and has had the chance to have some work in two respective exhibitions in Germany and Barcelona through the Julia Margaret Cameron Awards.
