Lesley Duxbury is an Australian artist based in Gippsland. Her work includes printmaking and photography, especially polymer plate photogravure and cyanotypes. She has also dabbled in photograms. Her interests are in the atmospherics of landscapes and perceptions of place. She has undertaken extended walks in remote and near parts of the world as impetus for her work. Recent walks have been nearer to home with a view to examine the immediate world around her more closely. She has exhibited in solo, and group shows in Australia, Korea, Austria and Hong Kong and undertaken artist residencies in Iceland, Paris and Fremantle Arts Centre, WA. Her work is held in all major public collections in Australia.
