Ingrid Budge, from Orkney in Scotland, discovered alternative processes in the 80’s and is now working in lumen, cyanotype, wet-plate, chemigrams, pinholes and more.

Ingrid studied photography at school and college in the 1980’s where an interest in alternative photography began with making gum and salt prints.

The main techniques she practises now are pinhole, lumen printing, cyanotypes, wet-plate, Polaroid emulsion transfers, chemigrams and more recently photoetching.

Ingrid Budge exhibits locally, both solo and mixed shows and occasionally gives workshops but prefers attending ones.
