Flemming Sarup (1934 – 2012)

Flemming Sarup (1934 – 2012) was an experienced photographer from Copenhagen in Denmark, and was working with gum bichromates since 1999. Flemming sadly passed away in 2012.

Flemming was born in 1934 and lives near Copenhagen, Denmark Flemming and worked with photography for over 50 years, and his preferred methods were black and white photography. He was also been experimenting with several historic photo techniques, such as gum bichromates, a process he focussed on since 1999.

“Gum Bichromate presents so many possibilies and challenges. The joy experienced by producing a unique colour aquarelle from a black and white negative is simply fantastic.”
