Challenges or observations: It is not an easy task to collect Cosmos because many petals are needed to obtain sufficient emulsion. This plant is endemic to North America (Mexico), is seasonal and its flowers produce anthotypes with high contrast and high durability.
Additional information: Our sunny and dry season, with a desert climate, is perfect for anthotyping, but it also favours fires, one of our main environmental problems.

In Volume 4 we will combine entries from both 2025 and 2026 into one beautiful double edition to include even more inspiring work, insights, and pigments to explore.
