Mix of Amaranth (Amaranthus viridis), Cucumber (Cucumis sativus), Pepper (Capsicum annum) and Turmeric (Curcuma longa) anthotype by Elizabeth A. Shores

“Warmth, the Sun” by Elizabeth A. Shores, Kavala, Greece
Parts used: The entire slender amaranth plant, the skin of the Macedonian cucumber, the entire Florina pepper, except seeds and stem and powdered turmeric spice
Amount: 3 medium peppers, maybe 1/4 cup of turmeric, two bunches of amaranth greens and skins from two very long cucumbers
Extracted by: The pepper, amaranth and cucumber were pureed in a food processor and strained. The turmeric was just strained through a coffee filter. All emulsions were used immediately
Solvent: Pepper: none, turmeric: medical ethanol, amaranth: Kavala Extra brand Ouzo, cucumber: a dash of tap water
Application: Brushing

Parts used: Tea blended with various plants. The cacao was roasted, and petals from hibiscus, rosehip, and rose were used, along with parts from damiana and passionflower leaves
Amount: 1 tablespoon
Extracted by: Steeping for 10 minutes
Solvent: Tap water
Application: Brushing with a Japanese hake brush

Solvent: Gin for turmeric, poppy and pansy, gin and water for beet root
Application: Brushing
