Alfonso de Castro lives in Spain and is a professor at the University of Barcelona, where he has been teaching photography for many years. He is also naturally a photographer himself. Alfonso de Castro is especially interested in portraits, nude photography, documentary and large-format photography with the alternative process (the most used is Pt/Pd).
Being a photographer myself I am in love with all kinds of alternative processes, including daguerreotype, vandyke, calotype, salted paper, argyrotype, pt/pd …. and of course the incredibly nice cyanotype.
