Crystal Edwards (previously Chrystal Jackson) has had a life long interest in drawing and painting, and the transition into photography was a natural move for artist Crystal of Southern California.
She discovered alternative processes as a way to complete a photo class with out access to a darkroom following an unexpected surgery and was hooked. Now she prints almost exclusively in Gum Bichromate and Kallitype.
Chrystal has been an exhibitor in the Winterfantasy Sawdust Festival in Laguna Beach as well as other local shows and galleries.
