Challenges or observations: The emulsion varied widely on different papers from blue/grey to purple. The leaves didn’t produce very much liquid. Next time, I would include more plant material and apply additional coats.
Additional information: This anthotype was made in Anne Eder’s Plant-Based Printing Processes online course offered through the Harvard Ceramics Program. It was a new technique for me and I look forward to exploring anthotypes in greater detail.

In Volume 4 we will combine entries from both 2025 and 2026 into one beautiful double edition to include even more inspiring work, insights, and pigments to explore. The release for the combined World Anthotype Day book is planned for November 2026 – a richer, more comprehensive collection worth the wait.
