Parts used: Chilly powder
Amount: 250 mL rubbing alcohol 91% and 50 g of chilly powder steeped and matured 12 months
Extracted by: Steeping in alcohol in a glass jar with lid in a dark cupboard
Thinner: Rubbing alcohol 91%
Application: Brushing in swift strokes to obtain some visual brush strokes
Layers: 1
Substrate: Cotton rag paper, very fine and thin

Exposure: 7 hours, August, winter moving to summer, 2023
Contrast: ✿ (Low) Image stands out against a pale light brownish background
Challenges or observations: Covered with glass plate and exposed on a slatted stand to expose in the and sun and let warm air circulate around the print. After sun and UV development, the fine cotton rag was ironed to flatten it and make it ready for exposure. Experiments were made on a variety of cotton rag fabric with various textures in order to find a suitable substrate.
