From: St. Petersburg, Russia.
Shows: Multi-pinholes printed in gum bichromate.

Lada Tazetdinova is an artist in a constant search after alternative photography methods aiming to show the natural color, “uncovered” beauty and multidimensional nature of the substances. Photography has always fascinated Lada as a magical process. During the years of scrupulous self-sculpturing in the area, she got recognition of the photographers’ community for her unique style and innovative approaches in image capturing. It is obvious, that for Lada each prior step in the process of photography is as important as the following one: from catching light and shadows, mixed in a palette of colors to bringing the images back to life. Starting from 2004 Lada presented her works in more than 40 personal and joint art-exhibitions. Lada’s works are displayed in international museums and art-galleries.

Lada is a member of the Russian Designers Association and of the Russian Union of Artists.

“I attempt to illustrate an elusive realm of a hidden, deeper reality with an infinite chain of undefined images, vague memories, mirages and clinging one on another illusions. While my photographs introduce a personal and sometimes intimate insight into the nature of the objects.”

About the Assonansy series (multi-pinhole gumprints): Brief moments of life dissolve in the infinity, leaving indistinct contours, echoes of aromas, blinking sounds and patches of light… These are stored in secret memory corners, until they are suddenly called to rise from a chasm by a new event, creating amazing multi-dimensional sensual experiences-sensations that charmingly combine incomplete rhymes, undefined and muffled pairs of words, whispers of time and five senses… assonances.
