2012 AlternativePhotography calendar

The AlternativePhotography.com calendar is created from a competition where 12 winning photographs were selected from 111 entries. All were made with an alternative photographic process, like cyanotype, pinhole, kallitype, wet plate collodion or other. There is some really good work in there!

Wonderful prints! I am so happy to see alternative processes fine art photography again! Nothing against digital fine art, I use it too. Actually a lot of the galleries in this area – don’t accept digital photography. History repeats itself. I have gum prints that my husband and I made during our study of photography. We had access to a large exposure screen(?)in the printmaking dept., and were able to make large prints. I can’t remember the name of that piece of equipment. Thank you~
