Peter Frederick

The inventor of the Temperaprint process, Peter Fredrick has recently passed away. It is a great loss for the alternative photographic process community. Alex Chater has written a piece on Temperaprints, which he and Peter worked on, and you can also see the Clifford-Thames show, featuring Peter's work, now on line as well. The European Travelling Portfolio is also doing the tour this year, and Peter's work features in it. This can also be seen here.

Hand-made photographs in the digital age

If you happen to be going to London in October, there is an alternative photography exhibition well worth a visit.

Six photographers working with pigment printing processes will be showing their work at the Clifford Thames gallery from 16 October to 15 November 2009. This exhibition will also include work by the inventor of the Temperaprint process, Peter Fredrick who recently passed away - a great loss to the alt photo community. See the show.
