Historical photographic methods in use today – the art, processes and techniques of alternative photography. Photography as it should be: hands on, fun and inspiring.
Marcia Petterson lives in London and does music and event photography alongside studying for a degree in photography at Thames Valley University. Marcia formally worked in computing as a freelance system tester but an evening course in black & white photography at West Thames College inspired her to give up her job and study for a degree in photography. Her work placement with Terry King at Hands-on-Pictures increased her interest in alternative printing and she enjoys experimenting with different techniques such as pinhole photography, Lith printing and Mordancage.
