Processes used: Photopolymer gravure, Platinum and Palladiums
David Hoptman has been a professional and fine art photographer his entire adult life, working as a pro and fine art photographer in Santa Fe NM for 23 years before moving to Tuscany Italy in 2004. He has was teaching digital and alternative photo processes at the University of Lorenzo Medici in Florence and now has gone out on his own to teach workshops from his home and studio in the Southern part of Tuscany. His Tuscan Light Photo Workshops focus on creative process and alternative photo processes including Platinum Palladium, Mixed Media and Polymer Gravure.
David says: "I have been drawn to alt photo processes since my first year in art school, I love to mix media using alternative photo processes!"
Note: David's platinum palladium prints have been hand colored with charcoal and pastels/mixed media with collage.
