Historical photographic methods in use today – the art, processes and techniques of alternative photography. Photography as it should be: hands on, fun and inspiring.
Based in Pasadena, California, Dan Jones is a graphic designer and fine arts photographer who enjoys working in traditional and alternative processes. His photographic work has been exhibited in many venues and is held in several private collections. In addition to the wet plate collodian process, Dan also works in Kallitype, Van Dyke, and gum bichromate processes.
"A slow, hands-on process that allows me to capture light and hold it in my hand."
