Historical photographic methods in use today – the art, processes and techniques of alternative photography. Photography as it should be: hands on, fun and inspiring.
Images made by photography students in the photography program at St Petersburg College in Clearwater Florida during the Spring Semester 2012. The class was taught by Frank Duffy an Adjunct Professor in the Photography Program.
The pinhole photos were made with handmade pinhole cameras on photo paper, then scanned and out put digitally on rag paper. The Cyanotypes and Vandyke brown prints were made from digital negatives.
"This was a fun class for both the instructor and the students."
