okay so i've been wanting to try using liquid light for a while now and i got the chance to try it out today (i'm acutally doing a about 5-8 projects in an art class and i plan on using liquid emulsion process on all oif them).
I'm in a regular bw darkroom, i tried printing on to watercolor paper. One coat of liquid light, made sure to only have the safe lights on, didn't expose until ready, i was just testing and did a test strip of 80 seconds (20 seconds each strip). and i put it in the developer....and i could see the outline of the picture and then the whole page turned black

i followed the instructions on the alt pro website here and skipped the stop bath and put it in the fixer. eventually the black all dripped off and i was left with the watercolor paper with some faded lines on it.
what did i do wrong?
my teacher said that she bought the liquid light a while ago, could it just be old? should i buy a new one? or is it something else i'm doing wrong? please help asap (tonight if possible, i really want to get started on my projects and if not i need to figure out something else to do)
thanks!
