Santa Fe New Mexico based photographer Brian Edwards has been photographing since the early 1980s. He studied alternative processes with Christopher James, Jennifer Schlesinger, and Kathleen Bishop. He is currently enrolled in the MFA program in Photography at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. He expects to receive an MA degree in Photography in 2018 and an MFA degree in Photography in 2019. He works in a variety of formats with both traditional, digital, and alternative/historical methods. Much of his recent work has been shot with tilt-shift lenses since these lenses allow for perspective adjustments in camera thereby lessening the need for post-processing.
