Reproduction of the first book published using cyanotypes. It contains numerour b&w and colour illustrations. Anna Atkins was the earliest woman photographer and she produced the first book to use photographic illustrations, called British Algae, Cyanotype Impressions, which predates Talbot's Pencil of Nature.
