Virginia lives in Cartagena, a city near the Mediterranean sea, in the region of Murcia, located in the south-east of Spain where she collaborates with a local art gallery. Virginia is a fulltime artist living of her photography. She found inspiration in Fontcuberta and Cristina Zellich. She has also studied the writings of Susan Sontag about photography and taken workshops with Daniel Canogar. It is the freedom of the alternative photography that Virginia likes, and she also experiments with watercolour, collage, acryl paining and track-photograms.

Virginia says about his/her work:

I started photography in 1995, because I discovered pinhole photography, it was magic. I began in the photographic laboratory and I saw photography as serious work.
