Vadim lives in the Asian part of Russia, in the city of Omsk and likes alternative processes. As a photographer he likes to take part in the whole process of creating an image, from start to finish. For taking photographs he uses large format and pinhole cameras and contact printing from large negatives to avoid digital transformations and to preserve the initial photographic nature. Digital technologies also represent an aspect of manipulation and gives the photographer an opportunity to use negatives made by medium and 35 mm cameras.
I like the Temperaprint process for its multi-layered nature, which gives a kind of volume and transparency to images. Manipulations with layers and colors sometimes lead to unpredictable results and hand made prints you can never repeat.
