Travis is a native of Lafayette, Louisiana, USA. Gauthier is a graduate of The Art Institute of Houston where he earned an Associate of Arts degree in Photography with a focus on digital imaging and portraiture. Combining digital photograph design with the tools of traditional photography is a focus of Travis' work. His main artistic tools are Nikon and Sinar cameras, Adobe Photoshop, Apple Macintosh computers, and "anything else he can get his hands on". Travis is a ten year master of Adobe Photoshop. Travis says "tantalizing the imagination and evoking emotion" are the main goals of his work. When not photographing, Travis' other interests include a wide range of modern cinema and various types of music.
I have experimented with all forms of infrared, cross processing and Cyanotype.
Travis' cyanotypes are Type II cyanotypes created from digital
negatives, printed on watercolor paper.
