Stanislav is an amateur photographer living in Slovenia, just under the mountains and this influenced his work. He likes expressing himself in alt processes - he uses cyanotype, Salt print, Argyrotype and Vandyke Brown Prints.
In 1993 Stanislav moved to the Slovenian Lowlands, where he lives and photographs. He is in charge of a local photo club and occasionaly gives lectures.
In 1980 Stanislav received MA of Wood science and Technology. His studies also reflects in his work. As well as trees, Stanislav likes to photograph architecture and take portraits.
He says:
I learned a lot from the great masters from the past and present and mix those influences with his own perception of the world around.
