Spiffy lives and works in South Austin, Texas. A refugee from a Midwestern state that begins with a vowel, he has been working with alternative processes since he began experimenting with lasers and holograms in the 1980's. Spiffy had a really good time in Bloomington, Indiana in the late 1970’s and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business in 1979. Relocating to beautiful Austin Texas in 1980, Spiffy immediately launched an early semi-retirement program that lasted for years. Having never really used his top tier business education for any practical purpose, he pursued more of the same, earning an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin in 1990. This extensive and expensive education in no way prepared him for any creative endeavors. Long blessed with the soul of an artist and cursed with an appalling lack of talent, Spiffy has been actively working with various alternative processes for about a year now. Spiffy's work is piled around his home, and is not displayed in prestigious museums and private collections around the world.
I'm just getting started and loving it.
