Rosemary was interested in using alternative processes and approaches to making photographic work, using unpredictable processes made creating work exciting. Starting projects without a knowing what the final images might be like became the focus of her study. Having a concern for the environment lead Rosemary to consider the materials within nature that could be used to make images. The idea that you could grow your own photographic supplies was enticing, and being able to put your unsuccessful prints in the compost was marvellous. Rosemary continues to develop her approach to this process and hopes to be able to "fix" these images in some way to make them more resilient to light. "I enjoy disrupting the precision of the photographic medium."
