Robin was born and raised in New York City, attended the H.S. Of Art & Design and FIT, where a passion for photography was developed. She has studied with Sheila Metzner and John Rueter.

My work is about a timelessness, a decisive moment, without a reference, to any specific period. An image that could have existed at any point in history, aside from when the camera was created. My inspiration is in beauty and an inner silence, wherever I find it. I seek to paint with my eye, held to the camera.

Since 1999, she has lived and worked in Santa Fe, New Mexico "Because of the expansive horizons and the beautiful light and colors." And is now working in Cyanotype, Van Dykes an Platinum/Palladium.
