Roberto Lagrasta lives and works in Parma, Italy. He has been a photographer since the end of the 1960's and has a preference for b/w. In 1989 he discovers the gum process and its expressive and creative capabilities. In 1991 he was one of the founders of the Rodolfo Namias Group.He shows his images in various personal and collective exhibitions, both in Italy and abroad, and runs theoretical and practical courses on gum dichromate. In 2001 the FIAF (Italian Federation of Photographic Associations) granted him the title of AFI (Artist of the Italian Photography).
