Lynette was born in Melbourne, Australia. She started her career working in a colour darkroom. She holds a Master of Arts in Visual Communication and lectures part-time.
She has been freelancing for over 20 years specializing in food and Australian flora photography. Her work is widely published.
I love the artistic quality and subdued colours that Polaroid Transfers give to my still life images.
Lynette works into the images with rag whilst they are still wet to bring out the texture of the paper and soften the appearance, adding water colour washes to some areas to enhance the underlying image. She is an expert in all Polaroid creative techniques and holds regular workshops around the country. She has won several awards for her photographs including an Honorable Mention in both the 4th & 5th Polaroid International awards. Lynette exhibits regularly.
