Katrina, from New Britain, CT, USA, is fairly new to alternative processes, having only been experimenting for about a year during photography classes. Despite the short time with the alternative, she has being interested in photography for many years and even spent a few of those years working in a professional fine art studio shooting portraits with both film and digital processes. During her first expedetions, Katrina learned cyanotype, salt prints, van dyke brown, and gum bichromate. "Gummies" ended up being a passion for her and she continues to work in the medium building her portfolio and showing us different ways to look at a face.
