Kate Cleghorn has pursued her interest in historic and alternative processes through study at the Maine Photographic Workshops, The George Eastman House, in Rochester, NY, and Photographer’s formulary in Montana. Kate received an MFA in Photography from the Savannah College of Art and Design and has taught photography for the Community College of Vermont, Johnson State College of Johnson, Vermont and the Vermont Center for Photography in Brattleboro, Vermont and for the Great River Arts Institute in Patzcuaro, Mexico.

Learning alternative processes added a new dimension to my image making. I love the depth and tonality I can achieve from a platinum print.
