Juan Manuel lives and works in Buenos Aires, in a small apartment in the middle of downtown. He has traveled at length in different countries organizing meetings with young people from conflictive areas of the world like The Falklands, Cyprus, Palestine, then became more politically engaged when he saw and took part of the riots in 2001. And after his experience with the anarchistic forces that woke the country up, his artistic activities have been a way to seek understanding of the unexplainable, or spend the time in the in between.

Some of the images I was doing were very big and required several poster sized papers to create the complete picture... it felt like floating in a purposeless, meaningless universe. Jumping on one of these coated papers and creating a series of such images was happening at the right time. It was healing to see such beautiful results.
