Bob Reinsel is a self-taught photographer who makes a living doing "other things".
Recently his work has been with Liquid Emulsion prints on various substrates including watercolor paper, glass and slate. He is interested in texture as an extension of photography and chooses substrates for the character that they contribute to the work.

The images presented here are all made on watercolor paper, which Bob finds is the easiest to scan. He has used liquid emulsion to create images on slate as small as 3x3 inches and on glass as large as 42x42 inches.

Bob has a varied background in music, art and technology and lives in the Washington DC area.
