Beverly has been working with alternative photographic processes for many years. Her most recent project has been to create a series of ambrotype portraits. She also works in albumen, cyanotype and vandyke. In addition to using these techniques in her own artistic expression, she enjoys passing on the knowledge and skills to her students for their own use and to give them an appreciation of photographic history.
Beverly received her MFA in Visual Arts from the Art Institute of Boston/Lesley University and is a full-time faculty member in the New Hampshire Institute of Art's Photography Department.
