It is nice if the work has been completed within the last 2 years, but not a must. What not to enterNo digital, c-prints, or gelatin silver prints, pinholes, unless of course they are combined with an alternative process. All subject matters apart from nudes acceptable. How to enterIt is a worldwide event. Anyone can enter. All submissions must be emailed to us. Only ONE image per artist. The following should be included:
Email it to us. When to enterStart now. Entries will be accepted until the deadline, which is Monday the 5th of October 2009. Entry feeNone. Totally free. How the selection is madeAll images will be added to a gallery. Visitors to the website will act as a jury, voting for the winner. There will be a week of voting. The 12 top images will be added to the calendar. What you will winThe top 12 images will be used in the official AlternativePhotography.com 2010 calendar. The calendar will be available for purchase at AlternativePhotography.com. The winner will receive a Holga Camera. The 11 runners up will receive one of the books listed below. The winners will be able to choose which book they would like by order of the number of votes they receive. I.e. the author of the image with the most votes will choose first. Winners will be notified at the latest by the 15th of November, but most likely earlier. CopyrightYou will retain copyright to your work. But, by entering the competition you will agree that your name and image can be displayed on the website or to promote future competitions at AlterantivePhotography.com. The top twelve entries may also be used in the AlternativePhotography.com 2010 calendar. By entering the competition you have confirmed you have authorised this. Good luck! Prizes
